Bangladesh Should Step Up for Palestine
It’s time for Bangladesh to take a bold stand on the Palestine issue. We can’t keep waiting for others to act. Instead of relying only on Muslim countries—many of which have sadly turned a blind eye or even played a part in the injustice—we need to think bigger and smarter.
Let’s work toward forming a sovereign nation council that truly stands with Palestine. These should be countries that actually care about justice and are willing to speak up in global forums, not just make empty statements. This kind of alliance could bring real pressure to the world stage, something that’s desperately needed right now.
The truth is, counting on certain Arab states has gotten us nowhere. Some of them have become silent spectators—or worse, they’ve sided with the oppressors. So instead of chasing after them, why not build a coalition of countries—Muslim or not—that genuinely want to see justice for Palestine?
That said, we still need a strong political and military alliance among Muslim nations. No single country can become a global force alone, but together, Muslim countries could be a powerful voice for peace and justice.
This isn’t just about politics. It’s about doing what’s right. It’s about standing with the oppressed, even when it’s not easy. It’s about being on the right side of history.
